CalSTRS Retirement Check-Up
Thursday, December 11th, 3:45 p.m.

This workshop is designed for educators approaching retirement.  The role of CalSTRS and the role of your employer, basics of CalSTRS retirement, the three decisions to make when retiring, and what you should be doing to prepare for retirement.

Individual STRS appointment

If you are over fifty years old, and have not yet made an individual STRS appointment, there is no time like the present!  STRS counselors can help you through questions regarding how much you can expect to draw depending on years of service,  and what might be your estimated highest paid year of service.  Also, they can give you advice about which pay out options you should consider based upon the needs of your family and spouse.  Your contact person at the County office is:
