Ready To Soar

It’s always exciting to see professional educators interacting with their students in the classroom.  French Valley Elementary is one of the three new elementary schools located in the northeast corner of our district.  It has grown as the French Valley corridor began to expand its housing tracts throughout the region. It is currently staffed by 49 teachers serving the 900 students attending there.  The student population is largely represented by families who have moved into our district in the last four years.  The rapid growth rate has created a strong and dynamic team of teachers at French Valley Elementary.  Functioning in teams enables the staff to provide a balanced and challenging educational program in which the diverse needs of the growing population can be met.  As for individual instruction, it is evident that French Valley prides itself on exceptional curriculum delivery, and has a staff that is very much up to the task.  Examples of direct instruction, use of technology, centers, and many other strategies were readily visible in the classroom.  From the look of its start, the Flyers are ready for take off!
