Barnett Elementary is abuzz with activity when you visit their site.  Principal Sherry Stewart appreciates that the teachers are always so positive in approaching their work. “They are always focused on what’s good for kids”, she replied when asked about their strengths.  Barnett’s incorporation of technology in the classroom is impressive, with teachers and students consistently utilizing it for learning and delivery of instruction.  They have made it a point to integrate standards into the use of this technology as well.  Kids are very much engaged by the differentiated instruction, too.  Congratulations to the entire staff for creating the positive learning environment at Ysabel Barnett!
